One Year

It seems only yesterday
but really it's been a year
It's not that I don't miss you 
but my life is here now.

I smile when I look back
I guess you know that I don't regret 
After all the decision had been made
and my life is still on track.

And here I am now walking my journey
with smile and love, with faith and hope
And just as you can see
I've been taken care without any doubt.

One year the time has passed me by,
since I said a farewell and a new hello.
